A Brutal Painting Guide
Todays Blog post is just a quick one to let you know that our guide to painting the Chaos Helbrute is up and online. This large miniature took around 12 hours total paint time which was split between 4 different sessions. It was definitely a labour of love. the detail and the features of this mini look fantastic but the sheer volume and surface area did begin to drag.
In the end I was very happy with the finished result even though I now feel that I could of done something more interesting with the base, after all its not often that you get such a large free surface to play with. I will eventually get around to putting the snow effect on the base but i will save this for a day when I have a few mini's that need basing. Any suggestions on what kind of things could go on a snow/tundra themed base are always welcome. To check out the painting guide simply Click the Pic!
