The War of the First and Final
Hello again our dearest Cobbers!
We apologise for suspending you all in a ceaseless void of nothingness for what we're sure must have seemed like an eternity! We hope you can forgive us for our lack of content and communication, but sometimes life gets in the way. 2018 is fast becoming a roller coaster ride for us here at Cob Wargaming but we promise we haven't forgotten about you.
But actions speak louder than words, and we thought the best way to apologise would be to announce our up coming Age of Sigmar Narrative Campaign!
Of course, in true Cob style, we have planned to begin our AoS Campagin just as Games Workshop announces the new edition of AoS will be launching at some point this month! Which of course has flung a spanner in our already stalling works.
So whilst we wait patiently for more news on the new edition to be announced, as well as seeing if we are finally going to take the plunge and invest in learning the full blown new rules, we thought we would give you a flavour of what will be in store for our Aelf and Chaos forces in our campaign named The War of the First and Final.
In The War of the First and Final we'll see two Kings battle it out, one who wishes to defend his Kingdom, and one who wishes to claim it as his own. The forces of Chaos are growing in Ghyran, and amongst the Beasts of Chaos, a Beastlord has risen to such power and prominence that he has outgrown his title and become something no Gor has ever been before. A Beastking. His name is Sparus, and his reputation and ambition have brought thousands to his banner, and amongst them are some of the finest Chaos Lord's and Champions the Dark Gods have to offer.
In our introduction to our forces of Chaos, known as the Servants of Sparus, we will meet just such a Lord who has pledged his allegiance to the Beastking. Chaos Lord Vladariys has sworn his sword and his men to Sparus' cause in search for glory and for revenge...
