Warhammer World part 1

That's right folks we had ourselves a surprise trip to HQ on Saturday and we loved it!

Warhammer World is a fantastic place for all hobbyists to enjoy. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, the food served at Bugman's Bar was delicious and the stores were packed with everything you could possibly want from GW or Black Library or even Forge World. Of special note was of course the exhibition rooms which were simply amazing.

We have loads of pictures to show you, so we have been very busy trying to cut them down to manageable chunks!

First up here is a snippet of some of the miniatures that have won awards and medals at a Golden Demon painting competition. This was truly awe inspiring. It is hard to believe that a human hand can paint at that level of skill and detail. These miniatures are on display for a short time only so you will have to be quick if you want to catch them.

Finally here are some pics of just some of the Diorama's that can be found around the exhibition halls. These showcase the worlds of Games Workshop in great detail and skill. It was hard to tear our eyes from one piece to the next but each one was truly magnificent.

Next week we will be back with more pictures from our trip including the models used in Games Workshop publications and also the amazing Angelus Prime mega Diorama.

Until then happy Wargaming!
